Connecting Shoonya Broker Account with Stolo

  • Where to find Brokers in Stolo Dashboard
  • Log into your Stolo Account
  • Click on Connect your broker & start trading in Stolo in the dashboard
  • You can see all the brokers you have connected to in this screen
  • Click on Shoonya Broker on screen & follow the steps below

Pre-Requisites for Connecting Shoonya​

  1. A registered Shoonya trading account
  2. Your broker account ID
  3. An API key
  4. Vendor code

Where to obtain required fields​

  1. Broker account id will be obtained from your Shoonya Trade account’s login
  2. API Key & Secret from Prism Site from Shoonya

Obtain Broker Account ID​

  1. Login to your Shoonya Trade account, in the home screen, you can see your account id next to profile picture
  2. Copy the client Id and paste it in Stolo’s Broker Account Id field

Obtain API Key & Secret Key​

  1. Visit prism site
  2. Once you login, click on Create an App
  3. Log in to your Prism dashboard
  4. Click on dropdown arrow on your profile icon and select API Key
  5. If not already generated, click Generate API Key
  6. Copy the API Key and Vendor Code & IMEI displayed
  7. Copy Vendor code and API key

Finish setting up Shoonya Broker in Stolo​

  1. You now have the Client ID that you copied from Shoonya platform
  2. You have the API key & vendor code which you copied from the Prism site.
  3. Enter these fields and click on “Add Broker”
  4. This successfully helps you finish adding “ Your Shoonya Account ” to Stolo.

Connecting Shoonya in Stolo (once added)​

  1. On home screen, click on Connect to Broker (Icon) next to your name in top right corner of the dashboard
  2. Choose Shoonya and click on Connect Now
    1. You will be asked to enter your password (the one which you use to login to your broker account). Enter the password
    2. You will be asked to enter TOTP
  3. A successful toast confirms your Shoonya broker is connected with Stolo

Setting up TOTP (Time-based OTP)​

  1. Go to Shoonya Account and log in
  2. Click on your profile/account number
  3. Navigate to Security & Click on TOTP
  4. A QR code will appear on the screen
  5. On your phone, download Google Authenticator from the Play Store
  6. Open the app & Tap on the "+".
  7. Select Scan a QR code
  8. Scan the QR code from the Shoonya portal
  9. A 6-digit TOTP will be generated every 30 seconds
  10. You will use this TOTP to connect Shoonya in Stolo alongside your password
