Connecting Angel One Broker Account with Stolo

  • Where to find Brokers in Stolo Dashboard
  • Log into your Stolo Account
  • Click on Connect your broker & start trading in Stolo in the dashboard
  • You can see all the brokers you have connected to in this screen
  • Click on Angel One Broker on screen & follow the steps below

Pre-Requisites for Connecting Angel One​

  1. Your broker account ID
  2. An API key
  3. An API secret key

Where to obtain required fields​

  1. Broker account id will be obtained from your AngelOne Trade account’s login
  2. API Key & Secret from SmartAPI from Angel One site

Obtain Broker Account ID​

  1. Login to AngelOne broker site, in the home screen click on account and head down to profile.
  2. You would be able to see Your name, Your Client ID etc.,
  3. Copy the client Id which you will paste it in Broker Account Id field on Stolo

Obtain API Key & Secret Key​

  1. Visit smartAPI website
  2. If you are visiting it for first time, you will have to signup by entering name, password, mobile number, client Id which you copied from the earlier step and complete the signup
  3. Once you login, click on Create an App
  4. You'll be taken to a page with multiple API options.
  5. Select “Trading API” from the available options (there are four, but you specifically need the Trading API).
  6. You will have to fill in App Details** **
    1. You can enter a name for your app (Eg., Stolo)
    2. To enter the redirect URL, go to the Stolo dashboard and copy the redirect URL and paste it into the Redirect URL field in Angel One.
    3. Similarly, copy the Postback URL from Stolo.
    4. Paste it into the Postback URL field.
    5. You may optionally enter your Angel One Client ID in the designated field.
    6. Click on Create App
    7. As soon as you create the app, you would see both API key and secret mentioned in the list. You can copy these two into notepad

Finish setting up Angel One Broker in Stolo​

  1. You now have the Client ID that you copied from Angel One platform
  2. You have the API key & API secret which you copied from the SmartAPI platform.
  3. Enter these fields and click on “Add Broker”
  4. This successfully helps you finish adding “ Your Angel One Account ” to Stolo.

Connecting Angel One in Stolo (once added)​

  1. On home screen, click on Connect to Broker (Icon) next to your name in top right corner of the dashboard
  2. Choose Angel One and click on Connect Now
  3. A successful toast confirms your Angel One broker is connected with Stolo
